Summer Landscape Technician / Crew Member

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Summer Landscape Technician to join our dynamic landscaping team. This full-time position focuses on providing high-quality garden maintenance and installation services, with opportunities to learn and develop landscaping skills. As a key team member, you'll support daily operations, assist with various landscaping tasks, and contribute to a positive team environment. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we’re excited to help you grow your skills in landscape management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform garden maintenance including cultivating, weeding, fertilizing, perennial care, and pruning.
- Participate in early morning activities such as loading trucks, watering, and weeding plant inventory.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning worksites, including sweeping and debris removal.
- Operate small landscaping equipment like backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools.
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and outdoor containers.
- Support garden construction tasks such as digging, site prep, planting, and mulching.
- Work with river rock, lay flagstone, and install armor stone as needed.
- Collaborate with team leaders to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Use job management software (e.g., Jobber) to track time and provide updates.
- Continuously expand your landscape maintenance and installation knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support team goals and client satisfaction.
Requirements :
- High school diploma; landscape experience or education is an asset but not required.
- Physically capable of lifting 40+ pounds, using a wheelbarrow, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, from early mornings to late afternoons.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to take direction and collaborate.
- Problem-solving skills for on-site issues.
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and dedicated to improvement.
- Valid G2 driver’s license and daily access to personal transportation.
Compensation & Benefits :
- Hourly wage: $18/hour (no experience); $19–$22/hour based on experience.
