Your main responsibilities

Protostatix, a Division of Enlobe is looking for their next Structural Engineering Technologist to join our office in Edmonton, Calgary or Etobicoke.

  • Prepare engineering drawings
  • Design drafting using AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS Office with excellent general computer skills
  • Must have good knowledge and experience with wood construction
  • Preparing and modifying drawings during design and construction. Ensuring structural drawings and specifications meet established Project criteria and applicable standards
  • Have a good understanding of design/drafting for multi-family dwellings, light commercial and commercial buildings
  • Assisting in the preparation of functional, preliminary and detailed design drawings
  • Participate in the production of construction documents for structural projects
  • Communication and coordination with other sub-consultants and members of the Project team
  • Read and interpret blueprints/drawings
  • And other miscellaneous duties, as required
