A multi-disciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer for a full-time position in North Vancouver, Canada. The role involves performing technical engineering tasks, site inspections, and working collaboratively on various projects. Candidates should have at least 5 years of structural engineering experience in heavy industry, specifically in mining, and be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer. The position requires travel for site assessments and adherence to safety protocols.

You will be required to perform technical tasks in structural engineering, including determining design criteria, preparing engineering calculations and technical design, performing computer analysis, developing drawing layouts and construction details. Secondary tasks include conducting design studies, attending existing facilities for data collection and assessments, attending construction site for field inspection reviews, and drafting reports.
