Structural Engineer – Edmonton, AB

TRS is working with an Alberta-based multidisciplinary engineering company who are experts in modular equipment design, fabrication‑ready engineering, and full lifecycle project execution. This is a full‑time position and based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Key Details
  • Deliver structural design and analysis for:
    • Modular equipment
    • Industrial facilities
    • Pressure equipment modifications
    • Related infrastructure
  • Work collaboratively with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project execution
  • Develop structural design concepts, calculations, and engineered solutions for modular systems and industrial equipment
  • Produce structural components, layouts, and fabrication‑ready drawings as part of detailed engineering packages
  • Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain alignment between structural, mechanical, civil, and process engineering requirements
  • Experience or familiarity with vessels and process piping
  • Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Structural Engineering
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical with related experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada, or eligibility to obtain
  • 4–10 years of structural engineering experience within industrial, modular, or energy‑sector environments. Open to more senior candidates
  • Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA, SFRAME) and CAD tools
