Qualifications

Job description
We are seeking a Permanent Part Time Stores Transport Attendant at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.

Days of work: Rotating, Days

Shift times: 07:00 to 17:00

Please note that a valid class 5 driver's licence and a driver's abstract must be provided.

What will you work on?

This position transports stock and materials such as pharmaceuticals, linen and other supplies. Collects all recycling, garbage and Biohazardous waste. Delivers meal cart to Extended Care by truck.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities
  • Transports stock and materials such as pharmaceuticals, clean and soiled instruments and laundry, mail, specimens, garbage and recycling, and other contingency items to and between departments.
  • Assists in unpacking of stock and placing in the appropriate stock location.
  • Cleans and rotates stock.
  • Maintains schedule pick up and delivery times.
  • Delivers meal cart to Extended Care by truck.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
