Responsibilities
- Understand organizational objectives and make decisions that align with company priorities and values.
- Endorse, model, and develop the team to deliver Coach’s Selling and Service expectations.
- Manage sales strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories.
- Flex store business strategies and personal selling techniques to contribute to overall store and financial results.
- Maximize the floor supervisor role to deliver strong metrics and results driven through team selling to multiple customers.
- Set and communicate sales/productivity goals for the team, track store performance at all times, and achieve sales through the team.
- Hold the management team accountable for floor supervisor and personal productivity and overall management contribution.
- Takes ownership and commitment for delivering results; actively monitors personal and store metrics and achieves goals.
- Drive business through sales strategies, clienteling, sourcing new customers, and maintaining ongoing productive relationships with customers.
- Develop and implement a clienteling strategy in partnership with the District Manager, monitoring progress to achieve business goals.
- Understand changes in the local market, anticipate their impact on business performance, and support execution of local sales strategies and tactics.
- Build credibility and trust as a personal fashion advisor by communicating fashion awareness and trends in the marketplace.
- Create positive impressions with store team and customers by bringing the best self to work through elevated, sophisticated, and appropriate business attire aligned with Coach’s guide to style.
- Act as a brand ambassador in the local market/mall to drive brand loyalty and business (e.g., charity events, local associations, mall initiatives).
- Coach the team on incorporating trends into their selling experience with customers.
- Influence customer purchase decisions by balancing patience and assertiveness.
- Show sensitivity to customer and team needs, tailoring the approach by reading cues.
- Resolve customer problems and meet customer needs in a timely manner through solution‑oriented and forward‑thinking approaches.
- Encourage the team to build long‑term relationships with customers to drive business.
- Develop personal and product knowledge skills and remain aware of current collections.
- Protect and drive the business needs at all times.
- Recognize the positive sales impact of staffing; recruit and hire accordingly.
- Coach, develop, and motivate the team daily, weekly, and monthly to meet goals using company tools.
- Ensure without negatively impacting service of Coach standards.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of previous Store Manager experience in a luxury retail service environment.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and retail systems (labor management, inventory, sales reporting).
- Physical ability to communicate with customers and team, maneuver the sales floor and stock room, lift up to 5 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high retail traffic days (e.g., holidays).
Base Pay $69,000–$88,000 annually.
