Position: Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentice - Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster, SK - Maintenance

Project Type: Maintenance

Project Location: Cenovus Lloydminster Upgrader, SK

Shift: Day

Schedule: 9/80 - 2 week cycle. Week 1: Monday-Friday, 9 hour days (8 hour Friday). Week 2: Monday-Thursday, 9 hour days

Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter/Pipefitters Apprentice to join the Cenovus Upgrader Lloydminster, SK maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification.
• Proven experience as an Apprentice Pipefitter, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques in pipefitting.
• Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.
