A leading energy company in Canada is seeking a Sr Project Management Specialist to drive project success in managing health checks and project assessments. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in the pipeline industry, with strong skills in project management and communication. This role includes responsibilities such as conducting health check assessments, leading project reviews, and developing corrective action plans. The position offers flexibility through a hybrid work model.
Are you passionate about driving project success and continuous improvement? As a Sr Project Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team that conducts Health Checks, gate reviews, and project investigations across the GDS, GTM, LP, and Power Business Units. By partnering closely with Project Development, Project Execution, and key BU partners, you will identify and resolve challenges in project management, engineering, construction, risk, and project controls. Primarily an office environment. Business trips across North America to other office locations as required for leadership and team meetings. Occasional business trips to external stakeholder offices or the field to assess engineering or construction performance, which may require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Fast paced environment with challenging and changing schedules with high impact results.
Occasionally, we need to work extra hours to meet project assessment schedules.
