Our mission is to help as many people as possible achieve their athletic ambition by :

Developing products rooted in sports science

Focusing entirely on improving human performance

Delivering an industry-leading customer experience that ensures athletes get the best outcome from our products

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to take a pivotal role in driving this mission forward.

Position Overview

As Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll design and execute strategies that expand our reach and build sales across Canada. This includes partnerships with athletic governing bodies, sponsorships and event activations, athlete and team programs, product launches, and brand collaborations.

You’ll manage and grow the marketing team and build out our events team in BC, with plans to scale across Canada. You’ll oversee budgets, direct both digital and offline marketing, and ensure our website, eCommerce platform, and customer journey drive conversions, subscriptions, and long-term loyalty.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded marketer who sees themselves as a future CMO. Blonyx is entering a growth phase and will be raising capital and building out its C-suite in the next two years. We’re looking for someone hungry for career progression, motivated by the challenges of a small, ambitious brand, and eager to play a role in shaping our future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Growth
    • Lead the incremental improvement and execution of existing marketing strategies that grow sales and brand presence in Canada.
    • Develop partnerships with governing bodies, athletic organizations, and other brands.
    • Plan and deliver product launches and extensions.
    • Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and mentor the current marketing team while building out staff and resources.
    • Establish KPIs, provide coaching, and ensure team members are set up to succeed.
    • Build and oversee an events team in BC, scaling across Canada.
  • Brand & Events
    • Manage sponsorships, event participation, and athlete programs to drive engagement.
    • Strengthen our athlete and customer community through experiences that reinforce loyalty.
  • Digital & Customer Experience
    • Oversee the digital strategy, including website optimization, eCommerce, subscriptions, and lead nurturing.
    • Manage advertising campaigns and social media marketing, ensuring they integrate into the broader strategy.
    • Develop initiatives across email, social, packaging, and retail touchpoints that connect seamlessly with digital activity.
    • Create a unified “web of consistent touchpoints” where every channel works together to build awareness, trust, and conversion.
    • Analyze marketing data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Qualifications
  • Degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years in marketing management with a strong record of results.
  • Experience in consumer goods / direct-to-consumer marketing; sports nutrition or related industries preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and lead teams while enabling others to excel.
  • Experience managing budgets and ensuring spend delivers ROI.
  • Strong skills in digital marketing (ads, social, CRM, website, eCommerce) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, small-business environment.
  • Passion for sport, ideally pursuing your own athletic ambitions.
  • Ambition to grow into a future C-suite role.
