What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Create innovative research content to guide clients in achieving business outcomes from Outsourced IT Services
- Provide actionable advice through various media, assisting clients in selecting providers for cloud transformation projects
- Advise on end‑to‑end sourcing projects for public cloud services and lead negotiations for multiyear contracts
- Assist clients in optimizing contract terms, focusing on cost and risk mitigation
- Continuously monitor cloud service pricing trends and vendor discount programs to inform negotiations
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, computer science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience in sourcing or negotiating IT services, including at least three years in IT procurement for cloud contracts
- Proven track record of negotiating high‑value public cloud contracts
- Deep knowledge of public cloud optimization and transformation services, including experience with AWS, Azure, and Oracle
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and analyze data for insights
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Expertise in cloud‑native professional and managed services
- Familiarity with Oracle workload solutions such as PeopleSoft or JD Edwards
- Previous experience in a leadership role within sourcing or consulting
- Strong presentation skills, comfortable engaging with diverse audiences
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
