A regional school district is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist for a temporary 0.03 FTE position. The role includes providing comprehensive support services to students facing communication challenges, participating in classroom environments, and ensuring collaboration with educators and families. Applicants need a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and relevant certifications. The position offers a prorated salary based on a full-time annual range of $60,832 – $109,713.
Speech and Language Pathologist
Speech and language services are those services provided by speech and language pathologists within a multidisciplinary framework designed to support students whose education is adversely affected by oral communication challenges.
Speech and language services include a full range of K-7 supports encompassing prevention, identification and assessment, direct instruction for students (individually, in classroom settings, or in small groups as appropriate), consultation, collaboration with educators and support staff regarding the student's needs in the classroom and other school environments, in-service training, and information sharing with families and other agencies.

The salary for this 0.30 FTE position is prorated based on a full-time annual salary range of $60,832 – $109,713.
The Speech and Language Pathologist provides a coordinated and integrated array of support services that include:
Professional Certification: College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (membership is mandatory)
