Specialized IT Consultant, Junior Level Evaluation Criteria

Criteria for Evaluation

Project Coordination and Planning - 40%
  • Experience providing program co-ordination support for a large, diverse program with an established program management framework
  • Experience with identification of risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigation strategies can be developed
  • Experience with co-ordinating and contributing to reporting and briefing materials
  • Experience with creation of diagrams to visualize and specify requirements and/or concepts
  • Experience with advising on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Soft skills - 30%
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and think ahead
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines and delivering high profile, complex initiatives
Technical Skills - 25%
  • Experience in the use of collaboration management tools
  • Understanding of Agile Methodology and frameworks
  • Experienced user of MS Office toolset including Microsoft Teams
OPS Experience - 5%
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s digital strategy
  • Knowledge of OPS I&T standards and best practices
