A leading Canadian airline based in Calgary is seeking a Treasury Specialist to support aircraft fleet management. This role involves lease administration, financial modeling, and collaboration with various internal teams to optimize fleet strategy and costs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and at least three years of relevant experience. Hybrid work is available, requiring in-person collaboration three days a week.

This is a hybrid work position in Calgary, Alberta and requires in-person collaboration at the WestJet Campus (22 Aerial Place NE) 3 days per week. This provides flexibility the remaining 40% of the work week. This hybrid work plan allows for critically important learning, collaboration and networking with our colleagues. Specific days in the office are agreed upon by the team.
Reporting to the Director, Fleet Leasing and Transactions, the Treasury Specialist will support management of the aircraft fleet portfolio. This role will be responsible for lease administration and performing financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis to support decisions regarding aircraft acquisitions, leases, maintenance, and retirement. Key responsibilities include building business cases, tracking lease compliance, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize fleet costs and strategy for maximizing profitability.
