A major energy company in Canada is seeking a candidate for a temporary environmental role focusing on climate change strategies and sustainability reporting. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.
Cameco's environmental systems and climate change team within the corporate safety, health, environment, quality and regulatory relations department is responsible for developing and delivering Cameco’s overarching climate change strategy to support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, proactive management of climate‑related risks and opportunities relevant to our operations and value chain, and managing common systems for site‑based environmental management programs. The team also supports the organization in developing and delivering annual sustainability reports for regulators, customers, investors, and other stakeholders based on existing requirements and evolving national and global trends.
