Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Apprentice (1st–4th year).
• Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor conditions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s licence; clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work for extended periods.
• CSTS, First Aid, Fall Protection, and other safety certificates are considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electricians with installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
• Assemble and mount solar panels, racking, and related hardware on rooftops or ground mounts.
• Pull wire, install conduit, and support electrical tie‑ins.
• Perform basic construction tasks such as drilling, mounting, and equipment setup.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with electrical codes and site procedures.
• Maintain a clean worksite and properly handle tools and equipment.
• Follow direction, ask questions when needed, and work as part of a high‑performing crew.
