Job description
Software Engineer I/II

Our client is looking for a talented Software Engineer who’s ready to tackle complex challenges, shape the future of AI‑powered products, and deliver exceptional user experiences — all from wherever you work best.

What You’ll Do

  • Build & Deliver: Craft robust, scalable backend services and APIs with Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, or C#. Partner closely with product and design teams to create intuitive, modern UIs using React and TypeScript. (Full‑stack skills are a huge plus — but not a requirement.)

  • Solve Core Challenges: Dive deep into engineering puzzles around data access, distributed systems, observability, and performance — the problems that make products faster, smarter, and more reliable.

  • Shape the Future of AI: Help design and build AI/LLM‑powered features that transform how people work and interact.

  • Own the Lifecycle: Take ideas from concept to production, ensuring your features are thoughtfully designed, thoroughly tested, and built for long‑term stability and support.

  • Experiment & Innovate: Stay ahead of the curve by testing new tools and technologies, sharing insights with the team, and driving continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • 3–8 years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong object‑oriented programming skills (Java, Kotlin, C#, TypeScript, or similar).

  • Experience building scalable REST APIs and cloud‑native microservices.

  • Solid database knowledge — both relational (SQL Server, Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).

  • Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event‑driven architectures.

  • Hands‑on with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

  • Comfortable with Azure or AWS cloud environments.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones.

Bonus points for:

  • Front‑end experience with React/TypeScript.

  • Understanding of LLMs, MCPs, and prompt engineering.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Fully remote — work from anywhere and still be a core part of the team.

  • High‑impact work — your code will directly shape our product and user experience.

  • Innovation culture — we encourage experimentation and value your ideas.

  • Collaborative team — you’ll work with talented, supportive colleagues across the globe.
