A leading legal tech company in Burnaby is seeking a Software Developer to join their Design Systems team. You will build reusable front-end components to enhance user experience across all products. We are currently seeking a Software Developer Design System to join our Engineering team out of one of our hub locations (Burnaby Calgary or Toronto). All hub-based Clions are expected to be in office minimum twice per week on one of our Anchor Days.
As a Software Engineer on our Design Systems team youll build reusable front-end components that power a consistent accessible and scalable user experience across all of Clios products. By shaping our company-wide component library with technologies like HTML CSS Tailwind and JavaScript youll help deliver a cohesive interface that supports Clios mission to transform the legal experience for all.
Experience in software development specifically with building web applications at scale and Ruby on Rails
The ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customers
Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products
Database optimization experience
Experience working with large-scale systems
A diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problems
A portfolio of successful projects (as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow Clions and customers
