A leading health provider in Canada is hiring Casual Registered Social Workers in Kelowna. The role involves providing comprehensive assessment and care planning for clients in various settings, including acute and community care. Ideal candidates will hold a degree from an accredited BSW or MSW program, with registration from the BC College of Social Workers. The position requires flexible availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts, contributing to a culturally diverse team focused on well-being and work-life balance.
We are hiring for Casual Registered Social Workers to join our team in Kelowna. Our department provides social work services seven days a week with varying hours that include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. This is a very busy role where you could be supporting acute care, community, long-term care, primary care and mental health clients.
We welcome applications from graduates from accredited BSW and MSW programs with open availability for shifts. Registration with the BC College of Social Workers is a requirement.

The Social Worker provides comprehensive assessment, care planning and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families. Working collaboratively with other health care providers and the multidisciplinary team, the Social Worker provides direct psychosocial care, counseling and group work, system navigation and advocacy, education and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources while facilitating client self management. The Social Worker is responsible for providing and developing social work services to maintain or improve the health and social well‑being and functioning of the identified population.
