Pursuit Collection Jasper, AB – $21 an hour – Full‑time

Pay: $21 per hour • Job type: Full‑time • Location: Jasper, Alberta

Responsibilities

Key leadership role to uphold hospitality excellence and standards at this iconic attraction in the Canadian Rockies. Lead, support and encourage the Interpretive Guides and Team Leads, ensuring that each member of the Skywalk team provides an interactive and professional guest experience, aiming above and beyond our guests’ expectations. Oversee the daily running, opening and closing of the Skywalk operation in addition to training, scheduling, guest flow, tour organization, team motivation, recognition and performance management duties. Ensure a memorable and positive experience for all by implementing and delivering the standard operating policies and procedures and dealing with guest escalations as required. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety and maintenance at the Skywalk. Lead team briefings, share management updates, foster two‑way communication for team culture and respect. Continuous improvement – provide feedback and proactively implement ideas for improvements for guests, staff and operational processes. Provide support to Interpretive Guides with program knowledge and answer guest questions. Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and respond to guest reviews in a professional manner. Assist the Skywalk Manager with additional tasks and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Passion for making a difference for each guest and employee.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, tourism, guiding or outdoor settings.
  • Organization, administrative and time‑management skills.
  • Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and interpersonal skills, including radio communications.
  • Guest service‑oriented mindset and passion for coaching and developing a team.
  • Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive, make decisions and lead independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods in an outdoor environment; prepared for all weather conditions.
  • Experience guiding an asset.
  • Mature, energetic, proactive and dependable leadership presence.
  • Class 5 Canadian driver’s licence (clean abstract).
  • Multilingual skills are an asset.
  • Standard First‑Aid or higher is an asset.
  • Must meet Pursuit grooming and appearance standards.
