This role requires over 10 years in construction management with significant envelope and finishing experience.   • Coordinate and schedule trades and suppliers.
  • Maintain project budgets and implement cost controls.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy using Procore and Smartsheet.
  • Lead daily and weekly site meetings.
  • Manage deficiencies and project close-out.

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join a well-respected general contractor with a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and career development. This role offers the opportunity to lead a wood frame multi-family project in Squamish through to occupancy, with additional local projects to follow.

About Our Client

Our client is a general contractor specializing in multi-family residential, commercial tenant improvements, and retirement living. They differentiate themselves through strong company culture, collaborative trade/client relationships, and a focus on mentorship and long-term career development.

About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to take over a wood frame multi family project in Squamish and get it to occupancy. There will be more projects locally upon completion of this one. Strong envelope and finishing experience are required.

About the Position

In this role your duties will be as follows:

  • Apply start-up procedures and conduct project kick-off meetings with trades and consultants.
  • Enforce site safety in accordance with company and WorkSafeBC standards.
  • Oversee site operations, QA/QC, and uphold workmanship standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule trades and suppliers to align with the master schedule.
  • Maintain project budgets within General Conditions and implement cost controls.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and consistency using Procore and Smartsheet.
  • Lead daily and weekly site meetings with trades, consultants, and clients.
  • Manage deficiencies, project close-out, and warranty stages.

Compensation
  • $120,000 – $160,000 DOE
