GardaWorld is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and community-minded Site Security Coordinator to oversee operations at a large, high-profile site serving vulnerable populations. This leadership role is responsible for all aspects of security service delivery, including staffing, scheduling, team performance, training coordination, and overtime management. The Site Security Coordinator will lead a large team of tactical security guards, ensuring GardaWorld’s contractual obligations are met while fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all site users. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing complex security operations in environments that require sensitivity, discretion, and strong community engagement, along with proven expertise in leading tactical security teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Service Delivery: Oversee daily and long-term security operations across the site; ensure full coverage of all posts and shifts while proactively preventing and resolving open hours; maintain consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with site safety protocols and community standards; monitor, analyze, and optimize shift coverage to reduce reliance on overtime.
- Staffing & Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive scheduling plans to meet fluctuating operational demands and special events; supervise scheduling staff and ensure all shifts are appropriately filled with trained and qualified personnel; respond to last-minute absenteeism and emergencies with minimal disruption to operations.
- Training & Development: Coordinate all required onboarding, refresher, and specialized training for tactical guards; track certification and compliance deadlines to ensure all personnel remain eligible for deployment; promote a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, and service excellence; lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of tactical security guards and supervisors; conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to ensure goals and expectations are met; address and resolve personnel issues quickly, fairly, and in alignment with GardaWorld’s HR practices.
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact between GardaWorld and site leadership; participate in regular strategy and operational meetings to review performance metrics and improvement plans; develop collaborative relationships with site stakeholders to support safety in a respectful, community-first manner.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, training, and inspections; provide weekly and monthly reports on staffing efficiency, open hours, training status, and overtime trends; ensure full compliance with GardaWorld policies and all applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., PSISA).
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience managing security teams in complex, high-demand environments (required)
- Proven experience managing tactical security teams in complex operations
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with or supporting vulnerable populations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices
