Are you passionate about design and lighting? Do you thrive in a client-facing leadership role and enjoy bringing beautiful spaces to life? LightForm is seeking an experienced and motivated Showroom Lead to lead our newly renovated Edmonton showroom.

This full-time role offers the opportunity to leverage your design, lighting, or furniture background while working closely with Edmonton’s design community and retail clientele. As a natural leader with strong interpersonal skills, you will oversee showroom operations, guide a sales support team, and drive sales performance while maintaining an inspiring, design-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

As Showroom Lead, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring the showroom sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Strategy and procurement of inventory, and creating tasteful and engaging lighting and furniture displays
  • Maintaining high standards for showroom organization, cleanliness, and overall presentation
  • Welcoming showroom visitors and understanding the intent and scope of their projects
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with residential and commercial interior designers
  • Presenting product features and benefits clearly and confidently, guiding clients in selecting products best suited to their functional, aesthetic, and budgetary needs
  • Preparing clear, accurate, and professional visual proposals and quotations
  • Following up with clients via email, phone, and in-person interactions
  • Coordinating with the Customer Service team to resolve product, delivery, or order-related issues
  • Participating in vendor-led product knowledge and training sessions
  • Organizing and supporting showroom events, launches, and educational presentations
  • Staying informed on product applications, technical services, and competitive market activity

Skills & Experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in sales and/or management within the design industry (lighting, furniture, interior design or related fields). Sr. Interior Designer preferred
  • A post‑secondary degree or certificate in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Lighting Design, or Business Administration or equivalent practical industry experience with demonstrated product knowledge
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions for clients
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with complex information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and CRM/contact management tools, Sketch‑Up, Canva, AutoCAD
Support, Compensation & Growth

You will be supported by our Vice President of Sales, National Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, as well as our Marketing and Accounting teams. Flexibility is required, as occasional evening events, trade shows, or industry functions may impact regular hours.
