Shopify Growth Coordinator

The Role

As the Shopify Growth Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful migration of our existing custom-built website onto Shopify, and in driving measurable revenue growth across See Sight Tours and Tripshepherd. You will work closely with marketing, product, and web development teams to optimize the user experience, improve conversion rates, build funnels, and implement upsell and cross-sell strategies that maximize customer value.

This role blends analytics, eCommerce optimization, and hands-on Shopify management. You will help build a world-class shopping experience that increases bookings, boosts AOV, and enhances overall customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
Shopify Buildout & Migration
  • Support the migration from our custom-built website to Shopify, ensuring seamless setup and functionality.
  • Assist in configuring product pages, collections, navigation, checkout flows, and settings.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure brand consistency and smooth functionality.
  • Ensure integrations with apps, CRM, analytics tools, and payment systems work as intended.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Funnel Building
  • Analyze customer behavior, onsite actions, and conversion paths to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Build and optimize funnels—from landing pages to checkout—to increase conversions and reduce drop-off.
  • Create and test new booking flows, calls-to-action, and UX enhancements to improve performance.
  • Implement A/B or multivariate tests to determine the highest-performing designs and user journeys.
Upsell & Cross-Sell Strategy
  • Implement and optimize upsell and cross-sell strategies across product pages, cart, and checkout.
  • Use Shopify apps and custom strategies to increase AOV and attach rate to tours and add-ons.
  • Partner with marketing and operations teams to understand products, customer motivations, and opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
Analytics & Performance Insights
  • Monitor key Shopify analytics including conversion rate, AOV, traffic sources, and funnel performance.
  • Use Google Analytics, Shopify dashboards, heatmaps, and session recordings (e.g., Hotjar, Lucky Orange) to inform strategy.
  • Build dashboards and reports to track performance, test results, and revenue impacts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on real data, identifying quick wins and long-term optimization opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the marketing team on landing pages, promo codes, and campaign optimization.
  • Partner with the Lifecycle Specialist to ensure cohesive email/SMS flows aligned with user behavior.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and customer service teams to ensure accurate product listings and a smooth customer journey.
  • Support business goals around bookings, user growth, and retention.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–3 years experience in eCommerce, Shopify, conversion optimization, or digital marketing.
  • Hands-on experience working with Shopify stores (Shopify Plus is a bonus).
  • Strong understanding of funnels, CRO strategies, upsell/cross-sell tactics, and eCommerce UX.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, or similar tools.
  • Comfort using Shopify apps for optimization (reviews, bundling, upsells, personalization).
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and eager to contribute to a high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in travel, tourism, or marketplace booking platforms.
  • Familiarity with liquid or Shopify theme customization.
  • Experience with heatmapping tools (Hotjar, Lucky Orange).
  • Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS.
  • Experience in subscription, CRM, or retention-based funnels.
