Interior Health is seeking a permanent part-time Shift Coordinator to join the team at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.

Shift Details: Rotating with hours from 07:15–19:15 and 19:00–07:00

About The Role

The Shift Coordinator practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.

The Shift Coordinator is responsible for patient placement, bed utilization and staffing during weekends, evening and night shifts. Acts as a clinical resource to staff in resolving problems regarding patient care, staffing levels and bed utilization. The Shift Coordinator is accountable for ensuring excellence in the provision of patient centered care throughout the hospital on assigned shift.
