Day To Day Responsibilities
  • Refactor or redesign long-running PowerShell scripts used for SharePoint permissioning and automation.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to SPO access, sharing, and compliance posture.
  • Develop solutions using Graph API to enhance automation and reporting capabilities.
  • Configure and enforce Purview policies including labels, retention rules, and governance frameworks.
  • Support SharePoint permission reviews and implement improvements to align with best security practices.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams on testing and upgrade readiness.
  • Manage and mitigate throttling issues using API header responses.
Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting and Graph API in enterprise environments.
  • 7-8 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint, including legacy and modern environments.
  • 7-8 years of experience with Purview, focusing on data governance, labeling, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online security architecture, data lifecycle, and access control.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex SPO and Purview issues across multiple geolocations.
