Sessional Lecturer, Civil, Geological, and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil, Geological, and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a Continuing Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course: GEOE 431 (02) Mine Design for a 3 year period: 2025-2028. Winter Sessions (January to April). CRN: 25818. Delivery Mode: Lectures. Course Schedule: Tuesday 5:30 – 8:20 pm. Expected Enrollment Limit: 12. Course dates and future year schedules will be discussed with the successful candidate.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or related field with relevant industrial experience is required.
  • Must hold a P.Eng.
  • A post-graduate degree in a related area is preferred.
  • Instructional experience with a good track record is a definite asset.

A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
