Servus Credit Union, Jasper, AB

Temporary Job details: Job type Temporary; Shift and schedule Monday to Friday; Location Jasper, AB; Employment Status: Full Time temporary 12 month contract (37.5 hours per week); Branch Hours are Monday to Friday. Your home branch will be in Jasper, AB and you will be required to travel to Grande Cache, Sangudo, Entwistle, Wabamun (Mileage provided). A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required.

Reporting to the Registry Supervisor, you play a vital role in delivering superior personalized service to our member owners/clients. As a Registry Agent, you are accountable for assessing member/client needs and processing over 160 products in motor vehicles, vital statistics, land titles, personal property and corporate registry on behalf of employers and Service Alberta.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales and referral goals
  • Participate in, and assist in the creation of corporate and branch campaigns, and marketing/business development plans
  • Build member/client confidence, loyalty, and trust through the delivery of personalized service and the referral or sale of customized financial solutions
  • Address member inquiries and concerns with ease
  • Remain current on product knowledge with a focus on communicating benefits to members/clients
  • Ensure due diligence to support the accuracy of all member/client transactions
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures to mitigate risk to Servus Credit Union and Service Alberta
  • Apply FOIP Act and PIPA requirements
  • Train and support team members as required
  • Actively participate in department/work unit and credit union meetings
  • Contribute positively to branch morale and a cohesive work environment
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience
  • Proven sales experience
  • Cash-handling experience
  • High school diploma
  • Valuable assets (not required): previous experience with a financial institution; business certificate, diploma, or degree
  • Strong desire to learn and improve financial literacy; willingness to engage in extensive training and development
