What you can expect to do here:
  • Advise top management on company objectives and strategy.
  • Act as a thought leader and "go-to" resource in acoustics, noise, and vibration.
  • Make decisions on highly complex issues with significant organizational impact.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on matters of significance.
  • Lead unique and complex assignments/projects, often with minimal precedent.
  • Create and coordinate formal resource channels or networks.
  • Anticipate business needs, secure resources, and lead change initiatives.
  • Guide, mentor, and provide input into performance reviews and corrective actions.
  • Demonstrate exceptional initiative, creativity, and innovation.
  • Operate in ambiguous situations and provide original, precedent-setting guidance.
What you'll bring to WSP...
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in acoustics, noise, and vibration, including 10+ years as a technical lead or resource.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in environmental noise and vibration, architectural and building acoustics.
  • Proficiency in modeling software (e.g., CadnaA, Odeon, EASE, TNM, STAMSON).
  • Experience with MECP guidelines and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership on key projects and excellence in project delivery.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to generate and sustain client relationships.
  • Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and strategic thinker.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, EOIs, and SOQs.
