Overview

The Applications Development Sr developer is an intermediate level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team; and resource planning negotiating with external parties when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
• Coordinate resource planning and negotiate with external parties when necessary.
• Facilitate change and innovation to legacy systems and processes.
• Manage deliverables, coordinate with onshore teams, and prioritize technical issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BI experience, extensive experience in SQL Server and in-depth architecture knowledge of SQL engine and Tableau 2022 / 2024
• Interact with business users and understand their requirements from a data analytics, visualization and UI/UX perspective
• Design and develop dashboards in Tableau using different data sources
• Understand and analyze data to find patterns and valuable business insights
• Requirement gathering, effort estimation, technical design, project planning and monitoring
• Experience building Reports, Dashboards and Scorecards; strong SQL skills in SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Tableau desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau Server
• Strong data modeling skills
• Working knowledge of Power BI and MicroStrategy
• Experience creating functional and technical documents
• Experience working in Agile projects
• Tuning dashboards and reports
• Exposure to Big Data connectivity with Tableau / Qlik
• Experience connecting APIs with Tableau Server
• Tableau mobile development
• Integration of Tableau with R or Python
