The company offers infrastructure and managed services to clients across Canada, notably in the industrial and energy sectors.

Key Details and Working Conditions

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior technical resource and coordinate the work of two system administrators
• Manage, maintain, and enhance LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security components
• Oversee Windows-based infrastructure, VMware environments, and enterprise backup systems (Veeam)
• Supervise cloud-hosted environments (OVHcloud): clusters, logs, risks, and server monitoring
• Lead infrastructure-related initiatives: upgrades, deployments, performance tuning
• Plan and execute OS and firmware patching
• Analyze system performance and propose optimizations
• Provide Level 2–3 support internally and externally, acting as escalation point
• Maintain technical documentation (configurations, topologies, procedures)
• Support onboarding of client environments: user provisioning, workstation setup, access and printing
• Oversee backup and DR tasks, and ensure ERP-related updates to client systems
• Contribute to internal IT operations: virtual machines, office IT, and security updates
