Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Structural Engineer – Static & Fatigue Analysis in Saint-Bruno, QC. The role requires expertise in performing structural calculations using tools like Hypermesh and Optistruct, ensuring compliance with North American rail standards, and delivering engineering reports. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering and 5-8+ years in structural calculations. Bilingualism in English and French is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years in structural calculations, preferably in rail or heavy industry.
  • Experience with fatigue and static analysis tools/methods.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Static, Dynamic and Fatigue structural calculations using Hypermesh.
  • Prepare and release calculation reports and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with project specific methodology.
  • Align with customer engineering process & quality assurance.
  • Support workload planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Provide weekly status reports and participate in team meetings.
