Position Summary

The incumbent supports Marketing in nurturing prospective students through personalized email touchpoints, leveraging advanced digital expertise, project and campaign management skills, as well as analytical skills. The incumbent leads project implementations, creates briefs, and provides training. Responsibilities include automations, journey setups, integration testing and cross-functional projects, SMS marketing, campaign testing, monitoring, and optimization recommendations. The incumbent develops segmentations, manages platforms, and collaborates cross-functionally to implement new tools and integrations, complete projects and align efforts with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, analyze, and optimize digital engagement activities to convert prospective students through their lifecycle to students.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align goals, independently manage campaign logic, testing, launch, and post-mortem optimizations.
  • Lead complex email and SMS marketing campaigns, including data flow, segmentation, testing, and analytics.
  • Ensure accurate platform integrations and data flow for seamless operations.
  • Serve as the marketing subject matter expert for major marketing technological projects, including platform launches and migrations, CRM, and third-party integrations.
  • Lead email marketing system-CRM integration projects, oversee vendor work, and ensure implementations align with business objectives.
  • Manage projects optimizing automated data transfer between platforms, collaborating cross-functionally to define timelines and advise management.
  • Oversee vendor projects, advising on next steps, and supporting team members by resolving roadblocks.
  • Act as the database administrator, advising on opportunities, limitations, and feature impacts.
  • Ensure database cleanliness with reports and automations; monitor audience health and advise management on solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements
  • Minimum four-year degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Business, E-Marketing, Digital Marketing, Web & Mobile Technologies, Graphic Design, UX, or equivalent education.
  • Marketing Cloud Admin Certification is required.
  • Completion of Project Management courses is required.
  • Minimum eight (8) years advanced knowledge of and experience working with digital engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including the following aspects of the tools:
    • Email, including Automation Studio and Journey Builder.
    • Platform integrations.
    • Data management and relational data.
    • Landing pages and lead generation forms.
  • Experience in other digital marketing tools and platforms as well as CRM (Constituent Relationship Management) and marketing automation integration as well as predictive intelligence modelling an asset.
  • Experience using Adobe Photoshop and image editing.
  • Copywriting experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Working experience in cross-functional projects.
