About the opportunity

As an integral part of the operation, this position is responsible for providing frontline customer communications and service for the department. Specifically:

  • Sell recommended and required vehicle repair / maintenance
  • Serve as the liaison between the customer and automotive service technician
  • Explain the nature of vehicle maintenance and costs
  • Advise customers on how to look after the vehicle and stress the importance of maintenance
  • Schedule appointments; contact customers with vehicle repair status updates and follow-ups
  • Accurately prepare repair orders and invoices
About you

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in sales and customer handling, including:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Service Advisor or Sales / Customer Service Representative; automotive and/or dealership experience preferred
  • Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency working with ERP systems (e.g., CDK / Reynolds)
  • Proficiency working with Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • Ability to sell vehicle maintenance
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to communicate professionally (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail; organized and strategic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • A desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
