A leading engineering firm in Ontario is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Director to lead complex energy and heavy industrial projects. This role requires 15+ years of project management experience, particularly in mining, along with strong governance and stakeholder engagement skills. As Senior Project Manager / Project Director, you’ll lead Area Managers, Engineering Managers, and project engineers—guiding stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
Location: Ideally based in the Greater Toronto Area or Sudbury, Ontario.
At WSP Canada, our ERI (Energy, Resources & Industry) sector delivers projects nationwide—from small installations to multi-phase megaprojects in oil & gas, mining, heavy industry, and renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro, and more). We provide design, engineering, and environmental services that drive climate adaptation, protect water and biodiversity, and help clients transition to low-carbon solutions.
You bring proven project management experience in energy and heavy industry, strong governance skills, and a talent for fostering new business opportunities. Reporting to the Vice President of Major Projects, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our ERI portfolio and advancing client success.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $147,500 – $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 – $184,600
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $133,200 – $176,900
