Senior Project Manager, Healthcare

We are seeking a dynamic individual with solid architectural project management and leadership skills to work with our in‑house healthcare team. This person will be as comfortable in a business development and project pursuit role as they are leading a project design team. The position requires experience in all phases of architecture and the ability to coordinate all aspects of assigned projects, and must have a strong background and familiarity with healthcare project types.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects at varying stages of completion, lead project teams completing ongoing work, serve as primary client liaison and promote new projects.
  • Carry primary responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, responsiveness of design solutions, and growth of the client relationship.
  • Manage team assignments within project scope, schedule and budget.
  • Continue to develop existing client relationships and help to establish new ones.
  • Expected to take an active role in marketing new business through participation in presentations, client interviews, proposal preparation, attendance at local and national healthcare industry conferences and working with in‑house marketing team members.
Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent people skills, great listener and communicator, fully confident in ability to manage a quality process and direct firm’s resources to meet client’s goals – a proven relationship builder.
  • Thorough knowledge of architectural practice and experience in healthcare project types.
  • Strong leadership skills with emphasis on solution‑driven results and strategic and creative thinking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; working knowledge of Revit and other relevant software.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; a Professional Degree in Architecture and professional registration preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive healthcare project work experience.
Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 annually. Salary may be impacted by candidate’s years of experience, specific market sector experience, licensure and/or potential involvement in business development. Individuals in this role working more than 32 hours a week are eligible to participate in our benefit programs which include bonuses, profit sharing, 401K contributions, paid time off, continuing education, licensure & professional memberships as well as medical, dental, vision, life and short and long‑term disability programs.
