A global leader in engineering solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to take a lead role in the design of ABB 800xA control systems specific to energy and wastewater treatment markets. This position requires 7-10 years of project engineering experience and expertise in process automation. Responsibilities include liaising with customers, creating work plans, and coaching team members. The role is based in Coquitlam, BC, with opportunities for onsite collaboration. This position reports to: Engineering Manager.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.
The work model for the role is: onsite or within a customer office environment.
This role is contributing to the PAEN Engineering team in Vancouver. Main stakeholders are PAEN engineering and our local customers in Vancouver.
