As a Sr Program Manager of the SAP Technology Strategy team, you will manage a diverse portfolio of concurrent projects, taking full accountability for end-to-end project delivery success. You will participate in the technical strategy to take us to the next level, contribute to our diversification and our cloud migration journey to S4/HANA.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage large-scale HR transformation and M&A post acquisition initiatives, focusing on the implementation of SuccessFactors modules, to enable TELUS HR teams to deliver exceptional employee experiences
  • Drive project planning, decisions, risk management and deliverable fulfillment by exploiting your project management expertise
  • Lead a cross-functional team on a daily basis to prioritize work and deliver on project deliverables in line with client expectations
  • Act as a trusted client advisor and point of contact throughout the project lifecycle by collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with TELUS' strategic objectives.
  • Utilize collaborative problem-solving techniques to effectively address project challenges and demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Drive project success by applying change management techniques to inspire and guide team members and clients
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences while advancing project and business goals

  • Challenge the status quo by challenging project team members to innovate and overachieve
  • Effectively prioritize and strategically manage dependencies to avoid project risk
  • Deliver project success through careful resource management and time management skills
  • Communicate with leadership on a frequent basis on project health by means of project status reports, presentations and email communications
What you bring
  • You have a proven track record of success implementing change around the Successfactors, and SAP HCM products with a strong baseline level of product knowledge across Core HR, Time, and Payroll.
  • You have 3+ years working experience leading complex implementation projects and leading a project team and client through ambiguity and change
  • You have 5+ years experience in a customer facing role
  • You have excellent communication (written and verbal) skills that enable you to communicate to all levels of stakeholders in your projects including managers, senior leaders and executives
  • You apply end to end focus in developing clear and concise project plans and lead regular project discussions with clients and project teams to review work plans, risks, actions, issues, and decisions to drive projects to completion
  • You can identify project related risks and mitigate them quickly through problem solving and innovative solutions
  • You are highly organized and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • You are proficient in leading project teams in an organized fashion, coaching and motivating your team as needed and resourceful in effectively confronting and resolving project roadblocks
  • You can manage multiple concurrent complex projects by prioritizing deliverables and applying excellent time management skills
  • You are confident and comfortable negotiating with stakeholders, customers and partners on key project decisions
  • You are proactive in identifying areas where changes or updates to processes can result in increased quality and efficiency
  • You thrive in work in a virtual environment setting
  • Navigate complex situations with diplomacy and composure

Great-to-haves

  • Understanding of all SuccessFactors modules such as Benefits, Talent, and Onboarding.
  • Understanding of SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Exposure of working with tools such as WalkMe, EnableNow, and Google GCP BigQuery / Looker Studio
  • Working knowledge JIRA and confluence
  • Experience in system migration and transformation
  • Knowledge of SAP On-Premise, SuccessFactors, S4/HANA and/or Workday
  • Proficiency with MS Office and G-suite
  • PMP/CAPM Certified

Salary Range: $104,000-$156,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits such as:
