About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Senior PO Oracle Fusion Cloud.

The Senior Product Owner Oracle Fusion Cloud is responsible for the effective implementation, integration, and management of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, primarily focusing on the General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets modules. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth integration of financial systems, particularly in the context of acquisitions. The senior PO will collaborate with financial teams, IT teams, and external partners to ensure financial systems and processes are robust, scalable, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization.

Reports to: Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Director

What you\'ll do here

Implementation and Configuration:

  • Manage the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules for General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Manage the integration process of financial systems during acquisitions, ensuring accurate data migration and system harmonization.
  • Collaborate with financial and IT teams to define system requirements and create detailed implementation plans.
  • Ensure that all financial processes and reporting requirements are accurately reflected in the system.

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Manage daily operations and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud, working closely with Oracle support when necessary.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current financial processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.
  • Develop and implement best practices for using Oracle Fusion Cloud in financial operations.
  • Ensure the financial system architecture supports scalability and future growth, especially in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Stay informed of the latest Oracle Fusion Cloud features and recommend their adoption to enhance system capabilities.

Training and Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop training programs specifically tailored for post-acquisition changes and integrations.

Systems and Financial Data Compliance:

  • Develop and refine control protocols for financial systems and data to ensure continuous compliance and efficiency.
  • Work on implementation, performance, and outcomes of financial controls 52-109 to ensure they meet regulatory standards
  • Facilitate collaboration with the 52-109 compliance program and work with internal and external auditors to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Assist in the creation, documentation, validation, and compliance efforts for new 52-109 controls, working closely with the 52-109 compliance program team.

What you bring to the table:

Education:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA designation, master\'s degree, or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or any leading ERP system, with a strong focus on General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets modules.
  • Proven experience in leading ERP implementations and managing ongoing system maintenance.
  • Strong experience in financial systems and accounting principles, with experience in post-acquisition financial integration.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications or any leading ERP system, specifically the modules for General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and project management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other ERP modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury Management.
  • Experience in the finance, insurance, or technology sectors.

Working Conditions:

  • We offer a hybrid work model with 2 days a week in the office for this position.
  • This position may require occasional travel to different company sites.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
