Overview

Holt Executive are partnered with a global Satellite and Space leader that provides reliable and secure satellite-delivered voice and high-speed data communications solutions to broadcast, telecommunications, corporate and government customers worldwide. Our partner is seeking a Senior OSS/BSS Application Specialist to play a vital role in the administration, configuration, and support of the OSS/BSS suite.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and maintain OSS/BSS modules such as order management, inventory management, service fulfillment, and billing.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, and release deployments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support integration between OSS/BSS applications and other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, network management platforms).
• Analyze and enhance workflows to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for incidents and service requests.
• Coordinate with vendor support teams to resolve issues and manage change requests.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
• Support user training and onboarding activities.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the support and/or implementation of Netcracker OSS/BSS applications.
• A strong understanding of telecom business processes (order to cash, service provisioning, customer lifecycle management).
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), as well as UNIX/Linux environments, and shell scripting.
• Some experience with integration technologies including SOAP/REST APIs, XML, and middleware platforms.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and experience using ITSM tools.
• Experience with network inventory and resource modeling within Netcracker.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a bonus.

The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and be able to obtain Reliability Clearance.
