Overview

Leadership opportunity now available to join our Interior Health team as a Senior Medical Director (SMD). The SMD provides senior medical administrative input for strategic and operational decisions within the Executive Medical Group, aligning with the organization's vision and values.

Leading and supporting Chiefs of Staff, Department Heads, and Medical Directors across Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, and Vernon, the SMD enhances medical staff governance, integrated leadership, and physician engagement to improve medical care quality.

The role involves fulfilling deliverables agreed with the Executive Medical Director, participating in meetings, and managing a workload of at least 7.5 hours per day, 2 days a week, for 46 weeks per year. The SMD participates in an administrative on-call service and performs other duties as requested.
