As the Senior Marketing Manager on our team, you will be continuously identifying innovative ways to protect and retain TELUS EPP customers, while identifying opportunities to reduce cost and drive incremental revenue. The ideal candidate is a natural born leader with a willingness to challenge the status quo, is able to work collaboratively and confidently with multiple stakeholders across different business units and levels to move programs forward.

What you’ll be responsible for in your new role:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager of this portfolio for the end to end development of the renewal marketing strategy including appropriate return on investment (ROI), and own the key performance indicators (KPIs): cost of renewal (COR), average revenue per user (ARPU), Churn rate and M&H Product Intensity
  • Identify meaningful customer and business insights to define end-to-end marketing strategies / programs to drive revenue growth, saves (reduced deactivations) and home services attach rates across multiple customer segments
  • Own and drive forward our triggers-based marketing strategy and roadmap, working closely with Data Science and AI stakeholders to deliver and apply propensity models, Adobe martech, scoring models and other AI tools
  • Support the evolution of the channel shaping strategy and how to optimize renewal experiences across multiple channels whilst managing costs; with a particular push towards digital fulfillment
  • Lead the evolution of the seasonal shaping strategy and how to steer renewal volume out of our highest COR time periods of the year
  • Lead the development and presentation of business cases to support initiatives to drive renewals to cost efficient devices, across the customer journey
  • Evaluate success of base management programs, making recommendations for future initiatives and evolving current campaign efforts; including keeping a pulse on weekly/monthly topline KPIs and competitive intelligence so we can course correct our base pricing strategies to drive the right outcomes
  • Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders including Marketing Communications, Pricing, Device/OEM team, Planning, BI, Home Services, Digital and Channel teams to gain alignment and execute on the base management strategy to achieve business targets

  • Understand concepts of direct marketing, lifecycle management & marketing analytics
  • Keen interest in solving ambiguous and often complex business problems with little precedent, you love to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty
  • Ability to take vast amounts of information from various sources and consolidate and synthesize into meaningful and actionable insights
  • Strategic thinking and planning competencies
  • Contribute to a team-focused culture with strong shared goals & accountabilities and influencing outcomes through leadership and persuasion
  • Able to articulate ideas in presentations (slide building) and reports (spreadsheets, executive summaries) to audiences ranging from senior executives to peers
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities with strong attention to detail, particularly around key sales periods like November

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $90,000-$134,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
