Role Description

Your Role

The Senior Manager, Business Finance will oversee the financial operations for Spevigo for the US affiliate, including revenue and OPEX forecasting, budgeting and reporting. The role involves collaborating with the US Forecasting & Analytics department to create accurate revenue projections, OPEX budgets and brand P&L forecasts. The role ensures accurate and and timely coordination with the Associate Director of Business Finance in generating performance reports and brand P&Ls, contributing to the timely generation of aggregated Region North America (RNA) P&Ls.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage daily financial activities for a US affiliate product, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, including with the US Forecasting & Analytics department to develop accurate revenue forecasts for Spevigo.
  • Take direct responsibility for operational expenditure (OPEX) development, reporting and forecasting to support financial planning, specific to Spevigo.
  • Develop budgets and profit & loss (P&L) forecasts for Spevigo, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Prepare financial performance reports and brand P&Ls for Spevigo, partnering closely with the Associate Director of Business Finance to ensure timely and accurate data in aggregated RNA reports.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure all financial reports and forecasts adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with broader business objectives.
  • Recognize that PV cases may come to your knowledge in this role and fulfil the responsibility to forward any adverse event and patient safety cases to the local Pharmacovigilance department in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate SOPs, policies and guidelines.
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years in relevant finance roles
  • 3+ years of US Pharmaceutical finance experience, with external audit experience greatly preferred
  • Experience with Buy and Bill revenue models strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated strong pharmaceutical business acumen and intellectual curiosity
  • MBA and / or CPA / CMA certification are preferred
  • Must be flexible, able to operate independently, and comfortable with business ambiguity.
  • Proven experience as a finance partner with the intellect and ability to quickly build rapport both internally and externally, across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate and evaluate a business case, lead others to a common goal and work with customers to re-solve common business issues.
  • The ability to work in a collaborative team environment while driving results.
  • The ability to travel to the US (up to 40%)
