As a Senior Manager, Assurance [Audit], your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading and executing a wide range of large to mid-sized audits
  2. Research and business advisory of complex accounting and auditing matters
  3. Providing solutions to our clients for accounting matters and working with them for growth in current business and financial conditions
  4. Leading and executing client engagements under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
  5. Contributing to new business development by understanding all Doane Grant Thornton services and by using your credibility in the field
  6. Acting as a leader in the business unit, service line, and firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan
  7. Maximizing engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources
  8. Analysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, NTRs, and Reviews
  9. Planning and leading teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded
  10. Supervision and mentoring of an accounting team, including the review of files
  11. Leading through the coaching and performance management process of the practice by providing ongoing feedback, conducting timely performance reviews, and delivering training to develop team members
