Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced SR Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in Medicine Hat, Alberta. This role involves leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary projects across all phases, from design to execution. The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering Degree, has at least 6 years of experience, and is capable of working independently. You will design and modify PLCs and oversee installations while ensuring compliance with relevant codes. A competitive pay rate plus living allowances is offered for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• 6 years minimum experience in electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with Triconex and Delta V systems is an asset.
• P. Eng designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify PLCs, safety PLCs, DCS, electrical systems, and field devices.
• Manage projects through all lifecycle stages.
• Provide technical expertise on instrumentation and electrical systems.
