Overview

CSC Generation Enterprise (CSC) is an AI-enabled multi-brand platform that acquires and transforms retailers into profitable, digital-first, consumer-centric businesses. CSC's retail platform is purpose built around its core M&A strategy and drives alpha by encoding revenue growth, unit margin management, and other expert-level retail practices into automation and AI. CSC owns and operates more than 10 retail, eCommerce, and wholesale brands, including Sur La Table, Backcountry, and One Kings Lane.

What you'll be doing

• Writing well designed, testable, readable and scalable code
• Assist in the development of new features and the enhancements of existing ones
• Collaborate with peers to review code and exchange feedback on implemented solutions
• Contribute to documentation where necessary
• Write and maintain unit and automated tests
• Coordinate and work closely with team members and other engineering teams
• Keep up with the latest web technologies, patterns and design

What you bring to this role

• 5+ years of experience building robust, complex, and accessible user interfaces and applications
• Strong experience using React, JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals
• Strong Analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A commitment to unit and automated testing of UI components and interaction flows
• Bonus: UX design, functional programming
• Experience with AI technologies like Cursor AI, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar tools to support frontend development and user engagement strategies is a plus.
