A leading technology company seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to manage financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and over 3 years of public accounting experience. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements and serving as a technical resource for accounting under new systems. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with a commitment to cybersecurity and data privacy.
Working at BlackBerry’s headquarters in Waterloo, ON or remote, the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will join a team of dynamic and experienced accounting professionals on the Company’s accounting team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Assistant Corporate Controller, the position will have a critical role in the preparation of the Financial Statements and Notes, and Management Discussion and Analysis. The position will lead/assist in other accounting and reporting related ad-hoc projects, including stock compensation, researching technical accounting guidance related to new accounting pronouncements and complex transactions, writing accounting position memos and benchmarking industry financial reporting practices.
