A major healthcare institution in Canada seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to provide expert financial analysis, manage financial reporting, and oversee financial systems. Applicants should have an undergraduate diploma in Business or Accounting, a professional accounting designation, and substantial experience in financial planning. This role is key for optimizing financial systems, particularly Oracle EPM, and supports strategic decisions within the hospital's clinical programs.
The Senior Financial Analyst provides expert financial analysis to the FP&A Leadership and various clinical and non-clinical programs.
The Senior Financial Analyst is involved in preparing and updating the annual budget, preparing required financial reports, coordinating the variance analysis process and ad-hoc analysis based on management requests as to inform strategic decisions.
The Senior Financial Analyst oversees corporate financial reporting, including the Trial Balance, SRI, and other essential reports. Additionally, this role is key in managing the financial systems within FP&A's scope, with a focus on optimizing and maintaining Oracle EPM, The Ottawa Hospital's financial planning platform.
Days, 8 hour shifts.
