Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day funding and treasury related activities.
• Collects and maintains financial data to advise and support business objectives
• Assists with preparation of financial reports and metrics for analysis.
• Analyzes and interprets financial data to advise and support strategic decision-making and achieve business objectives
• Updates and maintains financial internal dashboards for leadership team insight
• Tracks variances between financial projections and actual results to identify and troubleshoot differences and recommend adjustments or improvements.
• Utilizes financial modeling and analytical tools to measure and forecast the impact of various economic scenarios, risks, and business changes
• Prepares financial and operational analysis and reporting required for ad-hoc, daily, month end, quarterly and year-end purposes
• Prepares cash flow analyses, and other financial reports to assess company performance and financial state
• Primarily responsible for analyzing data related to payment providers including Visa, MC, Paypal, etc, and acts as liaison between the company and payment providers
• Supports month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Performs reconciliations across accounts and systems
• Prepares and properly document journal entries, as needed
• Prepares and track accruals and accrual entries, as needed
• Prepares interfaces to the client’s system (where required) and proper reconciliations.
• Special projects and other functions as required

Education & Certification / License Credentials

• Bachelor\'s Degree in appropriate field of study, college or university diploma in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
• 5 – 8 years of progressive work experience required in financial planning and analysis, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and GAAP
• Excellent analytical, problem – solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with SQL or data querying tools
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, experience with tools like Power BI is a plus
• Proficient with other Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Workday
