A healthcare provider in Alberta is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to coordinate and prepare complex financial analyses and reports. This role involves supporting business requirements through budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements. Candidates should possess a post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field, along with CPA designation and 3 to 5 years of accounting experience. The position allows for remote work within Alberta and offers a competitive salary ranging from $42.34 to $51.22 per hour.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will coordinate and/or prepare complex financial and statistical analysis and reports, along with providing interpretation of analyses and reports to support business and external requirements. Your work will be focused on budgets, forecasting, recommendations for program and/or cost efficiencies and development or enhancements to processes and controls. In addition, you will coordinate and monitor progress of financial projects, as well as coach and guide other department staff such as Financial Analysts.
Post secondary degree specializing in accounting or related field (e.g. economics, statistics).
CPA designation and/or 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
Experience in Fixed Assets accounting would be an asset.
