What You'll Be Doing

As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you’ll manage and grow your client portfolio by providing dedicated relationship management, complex financial services support, and exceptional client service. As a Senior Financial Advisor in the Imperial Service Team, you’ll deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, taking responsibility for a large portfolio and helping clients plan for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals. You’ll proactively engage with many new and existing clients to make lasting connections and provide comprehensive financial advice to help them secure their futures, own their homes, and build their businesses.

Note: On-site full-time work is expected.

  • Client Engagement - Focus on each client experience, deliver trusted investment advice, and provide comprehensive financial planning support to enhance relationships. Cultivate your network to establish new client relationships.
  • Business Development - Understand your local market and potential client base, create a sales plan that converts leads into new CIBC clients. Build connections, generate opportunities, and deliver results using a needs-based approach with CIBC solutions.
  • Community Involvement - Increase CIBC brand awareness by attending local events and participating in outreach activities to create lasting connections and future opportunities.

  • Credentials: MFDA; current accreditation in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC) and eligibility for MFDA licensing; Personal Financial Planner (PFP).
  • Quebec credentials: AMF licensing, completion of CIFC or CSC, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). It’s an asset if CSI / ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course (Quebec 0774) and CSI / ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790) are completed.
